Services

Health Access Initiative is not a healthcare provider. Rather, we operate to help patients who qualify get connected to physicians through a network of partnerships. We provide the following services for patients who qualify: (who qualifies?)

Special referrals to physicians who provide care
Medication assistance to fill prescriptions
Ancillary services such as x-rays and lab work
Facilitation of translation services, improved medical information exchange
Special assistance in helping patients obtain referrals for other programs they may qualify for
Case management
Outreach Education
“Cultural issues affecting health” is a continuing education class for healthcare providers offered to Health Access partners and staff. Please contact the Health Access office to schedule a class for your office.

In our office, patients are screened for enrollment and helped to navigate through the current healthcare system to get the care they need. Referrals are made, feedback is given to the doctors and other providers who generously donate their skills, and medications are provided for the patients. This cooperative effort of so many members of our community helps make Hall County a healthier place to live: one patient at a time.
